A Trenchless Water Line Pull In Action
Today I’d like to walk you through a really interesting process—a trenchless water line pull.
We use this as a solution all the time to resolve a common problem in our Austin area.
This process comes in handy in cases like the one we have today, where a large tree is directly above the location of a leaking pipe.
A trenchless water line pull can ensure that we are able to replace the line without damaging tree roots. The old, cracked water line, made of PVC, will be replaced by a new line being pulled by a cable.
With the cable attached to our equipment, we’re ready to go. The new line goes under the tree and to the other side, where it attaches to our splitting head.
Not only are we replacing the old water line, but we are also upgrading it from 3/4ths of an inch to a full inch line.
“This is a Simple, Exciting Solution.”
The splitting head allows the new line to run through the old, literally splitting away from the old line as it goes.
As the new pipe is fed through the old line, the job is easily taken care of without unnecessary damage to any tree roots.
This is a simple, exciting solution that brings great results.
Using this method can not only save your trees, but it can also prevent damage to your driveway, sidewalks, and landscaping as well. We like to call this the “Save a Tree, Hug a Plumber” campaign.
